PHOTO FRAME SKETCHES

We all have moments, people and pets that we cherish.

Usually, we memorialise these moments by capturing them in a photo so that we can look back and remember the joy, the love, the laughter or the awe that these things inspire within us.

I was doing exactly this when I first sketched two beloved animals that were a part of my life for some time before they passed. These sketches add a personal touch to memories that a photograph just fails to capture.

The idea of these sketches was not to be a large portrait mounted on a wall. Instead, they are small enough to fit perfectly into a photo frame. I feel this adds to the intimacy and personalisation if they can be placed on a bedside table or work desk.
